Basco, Batanes – The Schools Division Office (SDO) of Batanes conducted a blessing ceremony for the area where its new office will soon rise. The rites was officiated by Fr. Ronaldo β€œZenki” B. Manabat and witnessed by Assistant Schools Division Superintendent Dr. Georgann G. Cariaso, SDO personnel, and representatives from KNB Construction. The activity marked the formal beginning of the project that seeks to provide a more functional and accessible workplace for the Division. The new office is envisioned to enhance the delivery of educational programs and services, ensuring that the needs of schools, teachers, and learners across the province are effectively supported. This milestone reflects SDO–Batanes’ continuing dedication to serve the Ivatan community and strengthen its commitment to quality education and public service.
