The Schools Division Office (SDO) of Batanes formally opened the simultaneous conduct of intramurals today, September 12, 2025, across public elementary and secondary schools in the province. The annual activity aims to foster sportsmanship, teamwork, and holistic development among learners while serving as the primary avenue for selecting athletes who will represent their schools in the upcoming Batanes Schools Athletic Meet (BSAM). Participating players come from both elementary and secondary levels across the different districts of SDO-Batanes. Various sporting events and games were lined up, giving learners the opportunity to showcase their skills in preparation for higher levels of competition. This year’s intramurals highlight not only the pursuit of athletic excellence but also the commitment of SDO-Batanes to provide meaningful avenues for student development through sports and physical activities.
